# Create the collector and its token

Get the install command of your collector, once the flows are open.

## The steps

1. In Naoshift, open **Settings › Integration**.
2. Under **Connect an on-premise infrastructure**, click the tile of your platform. If no collector exists yet, Naoshift offers **Deploy a collector**.
3. Name the collector after its site or environment, for example `Lyon` or `Production`.
4. Click **Create and get the enrollment token**. A green banner shows the install command.

> The token works **only once**, expires after **one hour**, and is never shown again. Copy the command right away, and move on to the next lesson without waiting.

## One collector or several

A collector can poll several platforms. You need one per site as soon as your sites cannot reach each other: the collector must be able to reach directly what it reads.

### I cannot see the tile or the button

Deploying a collector is reserved for company administrators. Other users see a notice on the Integration page, and can still import files.

### The banner disappeared before I copied the command

The token is no longer shown, but you can simply ask for another: click **New token** on the collector card, under **Collectors**.
