Objective
Know where to look the first time, and know which scope you are reading.
The three zones
- The top bar: scope filters, search, language, theme, the eye that reveals real names, the documentation and alerts.
- The left menu: the modules, grouped by area, with live counters on alerts, events and vulnerabilities.
- The content area: the current page.
The menu, area by area
| Area | What you find there |
|---|---|
| Overview | The dashboard of your whole scope |
| Assets | The inventory, topology, storage and physical servers |
| Operations | Alerts, incidents, events, vulnerabilities, backups and reports |
| Analytics | Capacity, opportunities, recommendations, carbon and the simulator |
| Transformation | Sizing and scenario comparison |
| Settings | Source integration, users, thresholds and costs |
The top bar filters
They apply to every screen, and stay in place when you change page:
- Choose the datacenter, cluster or source to look at.
- To read the past, choose a specific collection instead of the latest.
- Click Reset to go back to the whole consolidated current state.
A number surprises you? Look at the filters first: they are the leading cause of a gap.
Search
The search field finds any object, whatever its platform: a machine, a host, a cluster. The / key puts the cursor there.
